Mulhausen Music offers a full line of musical instruments ranging from band instruments to string instruments, amplifiers, electronic keyboards, and microphones, in addition to instrument rentals, repairs, sheet music, music books, and accessories. You'll always receive a 20% discount on all our instruments, both new and used, a 20% discount on all accessories, and a 10% discount on books and sheet music.
We specialize in the rental, repair, and sale of high quality band instruments that have been recommended throughout the years by many schools and music educators. Before we rent any instrument, we make sure that the instrument has been sterilized and checked by a certified band instrument repair technician. Each instrument comes with a case, accessories, and a maintenance booklet so you'll know how to properly care for your new, used, or rental instrument. We have a certified band instrument technician with over thirty years experience on the premises, and our large inventory of parts enables us to complete most repairs on a same-day or next-day basis.
Our rental rate for most band instruments and violins is $39 for three months, and these rates have remained unchanged for over twenty years. We use the same one-page rental agreement that we used thirty years ago, as opposed to the three-to-five page contracts, complete with fine print, used by our competitors. We allow you to apply up to nine months of rental fees toward the purchase of a new or used band instrument, and we also allow you to rent as long as you wish with no obligation to purchase the instrument. You can also rent as long as you like.
We take pride in the fact that we carry only instruments of the highest quality. We sell and rent only American-made band instruments by Gemeinhardt, Armstrong, LeBlanc, King, Bach, Getzen, Selmer, Buescher, Conn, and Olds. Since there are no American-made violins, we carry only the finest violins from Austria, Hungary, and Germany, most with adjustable, non-slip pegs, string adjusters on all four strings, and come with fiberglass bows.
